Online Nutrition Seminar Recap!
We look forward to many more similar discussions and opportunities to learn from the best!
Try to incorporate at least one of the new things you learned this week! Keep it up for at least one more week after that - and watch it become a habit!
Good nutrition can be just as easy as eating unhealthy can be! It's worth your health to try it!

Push-up Challenge
Push-ups are one of the first exercises you ever learn as well as one of the movements on practically EVERY military, law enforcement, athletic test. There are all kinds of challenges out there, for example:
How many push-ups can you do in 2 minutes, both the U.S. Army and Navy utilize this.
I tend to do a few others challenges as well as that one during my classes.
The following is one of my favorites:
Push-up LEVEL Challenge:
Perform good push-ups every minute on the minute. Each Level lasts 1 minute and has a pre-determined amount of reps. The Goal is to see which level you can achieve by continuing to do push-ups for each level until you cannot attain that levels allotted amount of push-ups.
Level 1: 10 push-ups
Level 2: 15 push-ups
Level 3: 20 push-ups
Level 4: 25 push-ups
Level 5: 30 push-ups
Level 6: 35 push-ups
Level 7: 40 push-ups
Level 8: 45 push-ups
Level 9: 50 push-ups
First minute... try and get 10 push-ups then rest whatever time you have left. Next minute try and get 15 push-ups then test
whatever time you have left...... continue like this level by level.
So if you are able to get all the push-ups for certain level in the minute time frame you would be considered that level. (for example you get all 20 push-ups on level 3, however cannot get 25 on level 4. You would be considered a LEVEL 3)
I have yet to see someone achieve LEVEL 7, could it be you? it only requires a few minutes to try.

REMINDERS!
- ALWAYS change your shoes before class, no matter what the weather is like outside.
- REMEMBER to sign in for classes before showing up. If class shows "full," please still come - some people will sign up but not show up!
- RESPECT all equipment and rooms. If you are utilizing the "open gym," put things back where you found them and clean up after yourself. (Clean up chalk and put away the weights).
