KM4 test 5/12/23
I see Krav Maga Detroit tests as concerts. The first few are always the lesser known bands but they work hard to make a name for themselves and deserve to be on the big stage one day. It’s not always pretty or smooth but it’s usually entertaining. With a lot of work, those who don’t quit eventually become well known and their concerts become epic and something that people talk about.
So the last week’s KM4 test was such a concert. All eight performers were seasoned and well known so the expectations were high. And Boy! did they deliver. It was one of those events that people remember and talk about. And I’m so fortunate to have had the front row seats to this one, though I ended up standing all night as the excitement was too high to sit.
It started rough but after a little mindset recalibration they found their groove and kicked the show into the next level. And it was glorious and encouraging and inspiring. A real treat!
I am in awe of people who put their heart and soul into something they’re passionate about and it was clear that the Eight testing last Friday were such people. What a treat and honor to have them with us.
So CONGRATULATIONS to Roger, Antoine, Craig, Sheven, Shaun, Mike, Tim and Subash and THANK YOU for upholding the standard.
