Patriotism runs deep at Krav Maga Detroit. We wouldn’t have it any other way. And we couldn’t be more proud of all of you for your steadfast support of our efforts. You always stand up and show up. Whether it’s for our Troops, our Veterans, our Police and Fire or their families – you always amaze us with your generosity.
Today marks the one month countdown to Honoring Our Heroes – our annual event and fundraiser commemorating the victims of the 9/11 attacks and all those who lost their lives fighting terror around the globe.
As every year, all money we collect will benefit our troops, the families they leave behind and the wounded warriors upon their return home. The charity of choice is, and has been for years, the Operation Homefront. Please, take a moment to check them out. They are very lean and efficient and have earned the highest ranking (4 stars) from Charity Navigator year after year.
You can make your donations at the Front Desk starting today 8/11/15. We accept CASH and CHECKS (please make your checks to Operation Homefront).
As we get closer we will keep you updated on the progress of the fundraising and the event itself. For now, please mark your calendars for Friday 9/11/2015. All afternoon classes will be canceled that day.
